Dear Friends and Family of Arise Dental,

Thank you for your trust in allowing me and the Arise Dental team to care for your dental needs through the years. We love caring for you! There are a few important changes in the practice this summer:

  • Congrats Dr. Olson! Dr. Chris Olson has decided to go back to school to become an endodontic specialist (think root canals). He will be leaving Arise Dental in June to complete specialty training at the University of Southern California. We will miss him but wish him and his family the best in this new adventure!

  • Welcome Dr. Cameron Smith! After carefully evaluating a number of dentists for a potential partner, I am happy to welcome Dr. Smith to our practice in June. He has high integrity and is a caring, talented dentist. He earned his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and his Doctorate in Medical Dentistry from Mid-Western University. He has received several awards in recognition of his dental skill and proficiency. In fact, Dr. Smith has been asked by Mid-Western University in Glendale to teach, which he will do when not in our office. Dr. Smith and his family live in West Phoenix. I’m confident you’ll love Dr. Smith and am very excited to have him on the team! I know you will be in excellent, calming hands.

  • Finally, it is with mixed emotions I announce that after a short transition period with Dr. Smith, I will be begin working full-time at my East Valley Mesa office. I fully trust Dr. Smith to ensure that all of you will continue to receive the best possible personalized, gentle care that you have come to expect from me.

I’ve felt a strong need to be closer to home and my young family in Mesa; however, I want you to know that the relationships I have made with you (my patients) and my irreplaceable Arise staff is what has made the decision so incredibly difficult to finalize. That being said, the decision became easier once Dr. Smith agreed to join the team. To clarify, Arise Dental has not been sold or gone “corporate” – I simply need to become more present and available for my wife and young children in Mesa. With that goal in mind, I have searched out and found a skilled and caring full-time partner in Dr. Cameron Smith.

Dr. Smith, the Arise Dental team, and I are committed to providing you, your family and friends with the best, high quality dental care possible. We continue to be in-network with most of the major insurance carriers to reduce your out-of-pocket expenses. We also offer an in-office discount dental plan for those without insurance.

Thank you again for your long-time loyalty and trust. I count so many of you as friends. I am confident you will continue to receive incredible care at Arise Dental.
